Directions

From Portland, Bangor and points south in the U.S.:
Take I-95 North to exit 62 for US-1, Houlton/Presque Isle. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn left onto North Road. North Road becomes US-1. Continue on US-1 for approximately 98 miles to Madawaska.

From Moncton, Fredericton and points east in the Atlantic Provinces:
Take the Trans Canada Highway west to Edmundston. Follow the signs south to the U.S. Border Crossing.

Customs Information

The U.S. and Canadian Customs stations at the International Border are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day to facilitate travel and commerce between Madawaska and Edmundston, NB. The U.S. Customs station is located on Bridge Street, just off of US-1 in Madawaska.
